The 2018 icebreaker is in the books, and it was awesome. I️ ran pro ebuggy and pro nitro buggy.
In ebuggy my car was dialed all weekend and was able to qualify in 2nd right behind Adam Drake. In the mains I️ got a 2,2,3 which would give me a 3rd overall.
In Nbuggy my car was also dialed all weekend. And with some really good qualifiers I️ would be able to get the TQ. For the main my plan was push at the start get a lead and cruise and I️ did just that. I️ would lead the race form tone to tone.
Wanted to give my man Jeremy Cupps a huge shoutout for all the help this weekend could not have done it without you.
Thank you to my family, friends and sponsors!
Italy 1/8 buggy race
On the Gussago (Bs) track of the Ospy Team, the warm up of the second 1/8 OFF Italian championship race was held, F1-F2-F3 and brushless categories.
After some good qualifying Serpent drivers Alessandro Tovesi (Cat.F3) and Stefano Lorenzini (cat.F2) start in the final with the number 3. In the F3 category after an initial battle Alessandro Trovesi takes the lead of the race and goes to win with a gap , winning its first race of 2018 with the Serpent SRX8 EVO.
In the F2 category Stefano Lorenzini at the start of the final, he immediately took control of the race and with an incredible pace greets everyone and goes to win with two laps from the second, also signing the fastest lap of the race and taking his SRX8 EVO on the step higher than the podium.
Congratulations to all, Team Italy Serpent grows very well.

Well the 2018 DNC is over. Being my first year at this race was an awesome experience! I will definitely be back! Joey Wolters Christensen and the whole Dirt crew put on an awesome event! The track was amazing and so was the facility.
After the dust settled I would end up 11th in the Pro Buggy B main, 5th in the Pro Ebuggy C main, and 10th in the Pro Truggy C main! Yes I could’ve done better, but i’m happy where i ended up overall! Can’t wait for next year’s DNC!
Big thanks to Paul Ciccarello & Joaquin De Soto for all the help & support, and everything they do!
Also I would like to thank all my sponsors and my parents!
We have been at WBC3 in Klippan.
And the result that we achieved were good. We have been doing some practice and testing before the race.
In 2wd with the SRX2 Pontus made the A final after some good Q rounds.
We didn´t change so much since the car was dialed from the start. Starting 6th on the grid.
In the A finals we had 1 good run and finnished 5th, one we broke the car
after a big crash and the last one was o lot of misstakes and other incidents on the track.
Finnished 8th in the race.
In 4wd with the SDX4 Pontus also made it to the A final after good Q.
Here we didn´t change anything since the car was perfect from the start.
Qualifying went good and Pontus finnished 5th.
In the A final there were very tight racing and no room for misstakes.
We had a perfect run and finished 2nd, in the other rounds we finished 4th and 6th
after some small incidents and contact with other cars.
Pontus just missed the podium and finished 4th in the race.
