Team Serpent Philippines Report:

The Phil Nationals for Nitro buggy was held last sunday May 20,2012  at CV racetrack  with  the presence of Scotty Earnst as the race Announcer/Director. About 12 Serpents drivers showed up for this event without One of the top serpent driver Clemen Pancho who was out of the country .  Qualifying started around 9 am and Jordan Go with his SERPENT /NOVAROSSI /AKA/RAPICON  able to get a 20 laps followed by another Serpent/Novarossi/AKA/TORNADO driver Edward sio with 19 laps and no one was able to beat the 20 laps  made by Jordan untill the end of the qualifying – TQ Jordan Go.

The qualifying ended with the Top 6 positions of the magic 12 who made it to the Semi finals composed of  all Team Serpent.  Second seeded  Edward sio had to retire early during the semi with a broken bearing.  Still, 7 serpent drivers made it to the finals and 2  on the podium  with Jordan Go ( Serpent Novarossi) 1st and Jayson Chua (Serpent Novarossi) on 3rd.

Jordan dominated not only the qualifying but also during the 1 hour finals lapping the second car Behind him after few minutes of the main.  After 40 mins of racing,  the race was stopped by the race director Scotty Earnst due to  rain and lighting .

Jordan Go was driving the New Serpent Team Edition with a little bit of a revision (from Serpent designer Billy Easton).He used a truggy rear shocktower , truggy rear arm and truggy rear shocks.   ” The car’s great and easy to drive specially on the big jumps and rhytmic jumps, it does not slap  and makes the car very stable.” said Jordan Go.

Next race for the team will be the Philippine Nationals for Nitro Truggy  on June 24,2012
