Race: EAMK Summer seires, 3rd race

Place: Luige racetrack

Date: 30th of June

Class: 1:8 nitro buggy

Qualifications, 3 rounds, best time of the day:

1^st qual: Car felt good, but had little bit under steering. Heat was clean, but few laps before the end something stucked (probably a little stone) in the steering system and I lost 3 seconds. But I still managed to win the round.

2^nd qual: We didn’t change anything yet, but car was little bit better, due the warmer temperature, but on the warm-up laps the dog bone came out of the outdrive and we didn’t drive the heat

3^rd qual: We changed tires from LRP Kamikaze to AKA Cityblock and car felt much better. Driving was clean, and I improved the best time of the day by 10 seconds. So, TQ for me.

Final:

Final was 30 minutes long. Start was good and after few laps, I already had comfortable lead. After 15 minutes I was one lap ahead of the 2^nd place guy. Driving was clean, pitstops were fast and at the last minute I was 2 laps ahead of the 2^nd place guy.

So, car was really good and fast, I did the best laptime of the race, and everything worked out fine. That win also secured the whole season win in 1:8 buggy class, that was 1^st time for me, to win the whole season in this class. I’m happy that it happened with Serpent J
