It all started when we received the kit from desoto racing and we got down to business. everything was pretty straight forward and easy to build as it was on the buggy and truggy. we put the settings as the default setup, broke in the engine and went to the track for testing and chassis shake down. Immediately to begin the first sections we put the onraod chip on our brain since it was more than 15 years that I don’t race onroad.

From the first sections we knew that this car was capable to do what we plan. On our second day on the track we put new tires and start making changes on the suspension and from day one we could manage to drop 1 second from our previously day and I said it is me that is getting better on the driving or is the car that responds well to the changes? well it was both since I manage to to get used to the braking and finding better lines on the track.

On the race weekend we got to the track with a list of settings to test and this car responds very well to the changes getting to the point  to get the TQ with the track record (21.9) over the competition on over 1.7 seconds to 20.2, It was a blast.

On our first race we win from start to finish.

In our second and final race of the day we manage to win and also to break our previously track record to 19.6

It was a great weekend for the TEAM SERPENT DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
