We already went to locorotondo for the warm up in March. So I already knew the track, and I liked it before, and when I saw it back I still liked it. Only difference, I knew the circumstances would be different this time. I would be so much hotter. When we arrived there on saturday it wasn’t so warm at all. In fact in belgium the weather was better. Lot of wind and not so high temperatures. But on monday the weather picked up and it was really good than. Continue reading
Here a report from this past weekend.
This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Novarossi Challenge located at Chaplin CT. We had about 70 racers between Sedan and 1/8 scale and I was running the sedan class. I went to help the racers and promote the brands that I represent. I got to the track on Friday and started helping racers from the start. I also got my 733 on the track to started going through my motors to get ready for the Worlds. I tested different motors and clutch settings to find the best balance I could. Paolo, Tosolini and myself all ran sedan and Toso also ran 1/8 scale with Joaquin Jr. as well.
This meeting was well attended and the weather was good for both days. Practice ended with Kyle Branson recording the fastest lap of the day for 200mm, Glyn Beal in the 220mm GT class and Matt Cook in the Truck class. All 3 drivers were using the Serpent 733 and Xceed tyres.
The Serpent Team is working together well, and results are quite good.
With fastest Serpent 966 is Cristiani, Green, Salven, Fantini and van Gastel.

ROAR Fuel On-Road Nationals June 8-14, 2010
Lincoln, Nebraska U.S.A.
What a week! This year’s ROAR National Championship was definitely one of a kind. Let’s see…… first major race with our Serpent cars. First time at the Lincoln track. First time I ever raced both 1/8 and 1/10 at the same race. Only the second time I’d driven the 966. Crazy weather patterns that had us at the track for roughly 14 hours each day! It was for sure a very draining event for Rich Browne, Jim Adkins, Rick Davis, and me…but, in the end, we learned a lot, had a great time with friends old and new, and finished the weekend with some very good results! Swedish National Cup R2, Örebro 19-20:th of June
The Örebro track is a huge and very fast track, grip was pretty good and tirewear quite high.
We had dry conditions during the race, 18-20 degree, both before and after the race the rain was heavy! This time we got lucky!
