Diff Organizing

With the introduction of gear diffs to 1/10 ep Touring cars I suddenly found myself with a lot of diffs sitting in my pit box.  It is convenient to have more than 2 diffs (I have 6) as gear diffs take quite a longer time to rebuild compared to the ball diffs.  And once they are build finding which has 1000 and which one is 1200 is almost impossible.

Well,  I decided to end the confusion in my Pitbox and started marking my Diffs.  Permanent marker is an option but with oil and ever changing diff oils it becomes caos after a while.  So I started carving marks on my diffs.

I then created an Excel sheet incase I forgot what I put in them.  You can protect this using PVC coating then you can mark and write on it with permanent marker.

2. NCRC Race of Champions final leg was held on 13.11.2011 in Nicosia.  It was absolutely great to race on carpet again.  It has been many years since I have been on a carpet track so I was anxious to see how things turned out.
Mark Fisher was kind enough to send us his carpet setup so we adjusted the cars before we head out.  Mark uses some specific parts from other manufacturers that we can not get hold of so I decided to change the setup alittle to compansate for the lack of suggested parts.  Since I was using an older generation ESC I do not have boost in the software so I decided to use 4.5T LRP motor on my S411 couple with my trusty LRP SXX TC Spec.  The track had a litlle less traction then I expected but still provided a consistent run and with no roll overs I was happy.  The rear end of the car was a little to happy to show off once in a while but keeping easy on the throttle solved most of the would be problems.  Next tiem I am taking my tire warmer with me.
